This is part 2 of a 2-part interview with Miguel Madero and a continuation of the preivous episode. In this part Miguel talks about the influence of other languages on his normal .NET development work. It makes for an interesting episode and hopefully one that you enjoy (even if it is a little shorter than normal).

For those using the web site, feel free to try the Silverlight 4 audio player and let me know if you have any problems.

Episode 17 - Silverlight with Miguel Madero

This is actually part 1 of a 2-part interview with Miguel Madero. Why two parts? Simply because we talked too long and there was too much interesting content to chop out and reduce to a 30 minute show. In this first part Richard and Miguel talk about Silverlight and Blend, using Sketchflow to prototype iPhone apps and an interesting use for DB4O.

For those hitting the web site you may also notice a Silverlight 4 audio player as well as the usual Flash player. Try it out and let me know if you have any problems.

Comments are always welcome and enjoy the show!

This week see's Richard talking with Joel Pobar about F# and languages in general. Functional programming is coming more and more to the fore and this is a great episode to find out more about F#, try and get your head around monads and think more about the way you approach programming in general and wether the general purpose languages that you use currently are always the best choice for the job at hand.

As always, enjoy the show!
